January 30, 2012. A small team of NAWASA employees were fortunate enough to visit with the children, Management and staff of the Queen Elizabeth Home recently and had quite an experience.

Monday 6th, 2011 - St. George’s, Grenada. The celebratory mood at NAWASA’s Dusty Highway location was palpable last Friday as 230 of NAWASA’s employees celebrated Grenada’s 38th birthday.

March 20, 2012. The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) will join the region and the rest of the world in the observance of World Water Day on March 22nd 2012, under the theme: “Water and Food Security”.

March 27, 2012, St. George’s, Grenada: The Town of Grenville came alive on Friday March 23rd, 2012 as over six hundred students representing twenty two (22) schools participated in NAWASA’s 2nd Annual Water Conservation March in observance of World Water Day 2012.

April 24th 2012 - St. George’s, Grenada: NAWASA continues to rise to the challenge of restoring water supply to the parish of St. Patrick. Inclement weather 5 days ago wreaked havoc with the main water systems along the north and north west corner of the island, leaving in its wake heavy siltration and blocked dams, leaving many consumers without this most precious of resources. Quality and Production Manager, Mr. Allan Neptune remarked, “the conditions are shocking, never have we seen this, not even after Ivan.”

April 25th 2012 - St. George’s, Grenada: NAWASA continues to rise to the challenge of restoring water supply to the parish of St. Patrick. Continued efforts by an undaunted crew today achieved significant results of clearing the second blocked dam – the Zulu dam.

April 27th 2012 - St. George’s, Grenada: The National Water and Sewerage Authority today recognised the winners of World Water Day competitions in a prize giving ceremony held at the Authority’s boardroom at their main office on the Carenage.

April 30th 2012 - St. George’s, Grenada: In the wake of an unprecedented 9 days of water supply challenges in the parish of St. Patrick brought about by heavy rains resulting in floods, slides, and eventual blockage of two dams – Zulu and Cha Cha dams - supplying the entire area, the National Water and Sewerage Authority has invited the local media to visit to the Zulu dam.
